Beach Towels
'Island Treasure' is an artwork inspired by the beautiful old homes dotted around Rarotonga.
Each one evokes a feeling of nostalgia, creating wonder about all of the memories that have been made under swaying palm trees, surrounded by lush greenery, and to the soundtrack of the lapping ocean.
About the Artist: Jen Sievers paints joy. She uses acrylic paints with fresh colours, sweeping lines and a contemporary edge. She has worked in abstract and portraiture, but found her artistic home in contemporary abstracted landscapes. Colour is her love language.
She paints obsessively in her home studio in the foothills of the Waitakeres, New Zealand - between being a mum and hatching plans for new creative projects.
"Boob Watch" : One of my beach series, this artwork is a depiction of my life spent on Australian beaches. Named after the nickname for the TV series ?Baywatch' in the 90?s, this artwork features a few pairs of boobs and some ultra high cut bikini lines.
About the Artist: Anna Price is a Sydney-based Interior Designer turned artist. Growing up in Sydney as the youngest of five, she was constantly drawing and illustrating in a busy, creative household. Her paintings are predominately large scale and involve huge amounts of bold colour. Her inspiration comes from repetition, scale, her surrounding environments and childrens literature.
